Reiknistofa Bankanna (RB), IT Service Provider of and for the (savings) banks in Iceland, has selected Data eXcellence to perform a comprehensive and complex data migration assignment. The migration of the data is part of the implementation of the Sopra Banking Platform at RB and its affiliated banks.
RB has chosen to replace its existing customization systems with Sopra’s core banking platform. This reduces RB’s total cost of ownership and increases flexibility. RB also avoids new investments in its existing systems due to future compliance requirements.
Decisive factor

Millions of bank accounts
The migration solution for RB Iceland will be developed to migrate data from all Icelandic banks. In total between the one and two million bank accounts.
